The Irish Agricultural Museum and Johnstown Castle Gardens are situated a mile away from the village of Murrintown. Please use the entrance gate on the Murrintown Road not the Teagasc gate in Piercestown - this is for staff only. The Museum is housed in the old stable buildings beside the main lake within the exquisite grounds of Johnstown Castle estate.
